Monaco Football Club has announced the signing of Brazilian winger, Wanderson, from Spanish side Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old has been with the Los Blancos since 2018 and made 77 appearances for the club, scoring four goals.
Wanderson is expected to add pace and creativity to the midfield as he looks to make his debut for the Principality club.
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti confirmed the move in January this year, but it was only recently that the player himself confirmed the news.
"We are very happy with the acquisition of Wanderson," Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim said in a statement. "He brings us quality, speed and creativity."
Jardim also praised the player's work ethic and desire to succeed at the highest level.
"Wanderson is someone who will help us improve our performance on the pitch," he added.
Monaco have struggled to find their feet in Ligue 1 this season, currently sitting bottom of the table with just one win from eight games.
But Jardim believes that Wanderson can help turn things around and help his team achieve success.
"His arrival is another step forward for our project," he said. "We are looking forward to working with him and I am confident that he will be a valuable addition to our squad."
